In addition to being an accomplished writer and storyteller, Claire is a creative writing a teacher and currently on faculty at Hamline University. She teaches and advises aspiring authors in Hamline’s Low Residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults program.
THE MFA IN WRITING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS
Hamline University’s Graduate School of Liberal Studies’ master of fine arts in writing for children and young adults is geared at writers of literature for children and young adults who hope to be published. With a faculty-to-student ratio of just five to one, the master’s program provides an in-depth education in the field of children’s literature and a high degree of individual attention. The faculty is comprised of well-known, award-winning authors who are experienced teachers.
